1.Washing process:

Main step:
An important process preceding gold ore separation, as placer gold deposits contain significant amounts of weathered clay, within which the gold is embedded. The purpose of the washing process is to separate gravel, sandy soil, and silt, while cleaning fine mud adhering to gravel and separating gold-bearing sand intermixed within it. Washing operations employ water flushing and mechanical agitation—such as flat vibrating screens, drum washers, and drum screens—to liberate mineral sands trapped within cemented lumps or muddy masses.
2.screening process
Main steps:
The main purpose is to screen the washed sand gold ore and remove large non gold bearing gravel to improve the gold selection efficiency. Screening operations can remove 20-40% of waste rocks, and water screening is often used. Screen and wash water to break up scattered mineral mud to improve screening efficiency.
